Panama is safe and to be described as the last paradise on earth.
Pensioners will receive between 25% and 35% discount on almost everything, no matter whether you fly from A to B, if you go to eat well in a restaurant or if you pay somewhere for admission, whether you buy drugs or visit a doctor.
In Europe and USA, everything is much more expensive. In Panama you will find everything much cheaper AND here you will get on the top 25% to 35% discount on nearly everything.

A car insurance costs about $ 100 per year. A health insurance, even for retirees, or just for retirees, you will get from just as little amount as $ 50 per person.

I visited almost all countries in Latin America and met many lovely people, made many new friends. But I felt Panama as the safest and most inexpensive place.

I was almost 3 weeks with Caren and Carl in Alto Boquete in their great B & B Hotel. For me the most beautiful corner of Panama with a wonderful climate.

Carl is a great cook and grill masters. Caren takes care of her guests as a mother, so she is often referred to Carl as Mother Teresa. The house is located just great, as the name suggests, “La Casa Romantico”. And that is true. But you should convince yourself:

I can only recommend this house warmly. I am already thinking about it, to relocate to Panama completely. Caren will help me to find the right home. For the cost of my little 2 room apartment, I can rent a house in Panama. From the amount of my charges in Germany, I can already live glorious in Panama.
